EXPLORATION BUS TOURS — TERMS & CONDITIONS
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
Exploration Tours may cancel a tour up to one hour before departure time due mechanical failure, traffic delays, weather or other acts of God and will be operated to the best of our ability or rescheduled to a future date, no cash refunds will be issued. For tours that are delayed in process, you may incur additional expenses that you will be responsible for, such as a hotel or meal. If you leave your departure location before one hour has passed from your scheduled departure time you will not be refunded. Our drivers cannot wait more then 5 minutes after scheduled departure.
If the Tour is canceled by you or the company Refunds can take 4 to 8 weeks to process as we wait for all suppliers to refund us from the original date the tour was scheduled. Refunds are sent in the order they booked as funds are received and two people traveling together may get refunds at different times. If you cancel less than 30 days before departing, all prepaid expenses will be deducted and a travel credit issued.
PURCHASE OPTIONAL INSURANCE
We recommend purchasing optional travel insurance through a third-party provider such as Travel Guard https://www.travelguard.com/purchase/start-your-quote. Exploration Tours does not sell or manage insurance policies and is not responsible for coverage decisions. If you do not have internet services call us for assistance. Tours canceled after final payment date are not refundable. There are no exceptions, so please do not ask us.
PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP is needed for all tours traveling outside the United States including Canada and Mexico the depart on a plane or cruise. For tours traveling into British Columbia or Alberta by land only, an enhanced drivers license issued in Washington may be used. The cost for these are additional. Canada does not allow entry if you have a DUI or felony. On May 7, 2025, U.S. travelers must be REAL ID compliant to board domestic flights. Check this website https://dol.wa.gov/id-cards/real-id for further details and get ready. If you are refused boarding, we cannot refund your tour.
ACCESSIBILITY & HEALTH
Travelers must disclose any physical or mobility limitations at time of booking. Those requiring assistance must travel with a capable companion. Dietary restrictions must be provided at least 72 hours in advance. Exploration cannot guarantee all accommodations but will make reasonable efforts.
CONDUCT & SAFETY
We reserve the right to remove any traveler for behavior that is disruptive, unsafe, or impacts the comfort of others. Exploration Coach Lines LLC is a licensed and insured motor carrier operating under DOT #2533071. Our vehicles and drivers meet or exceed all federal and state safety requirements.
LIABILITY DISCLAIMER
Exploration Tours acts only as an agent for transportation providers, hotels, and independent vendors. We are not responsible for loss, injury, damage, or delay caused by third-party providers or unforeseen events. Rates, itineraries, and components may be changed without notice.
SCENT-FREE POLICY
To ensure the comfort of all guests, our tours are scent-free. Please avoid using perfumes, colognes, or other scented products.
TOUR COMMUNICATION
Important updates are sent by email. It is your responsibility to check your inbox (including spam folders) the night before and morning of departure. Provide a working cell phone number and keep it on during your tour.
