Blossom season is considered one of the most beautiful times to visit the Hood River Valley. You will pick your seat on the train and ride from 90 feet above sea level to 1,726′, it’s a dramatic elevation change. Witness blossoms on up to 2.4 million trees–that comes out to about 15,000 acres of apples, pears, peaches, and cherries, all blooming throughout spring. During narrated train ride, you will learn more about the apples, pears, cherries, and peaches produced in the Gorge region. Make a 45-minute stop at the Hood River Fruit Company and packing museum. Enjoy your snack packs here or on your return train ride. There is a winery offering tastings. At the end of your journey, spend time in Hood River for dining and shopping.
