Experience the excitement and creativity of the Tournament of Roses before parade day! After a light hotel breakfast, catch your 7:00 a.m. flight into the beautiful and easy-to-navigate Ontario Airport, just a short ride from our exclusive Float Barn Tour. This float barn is open only to pre-arranged groups, ensuring quick entry and fewer crowds. Watch as skilled volunteers and floral designers bring the iconic Rose Parade floats to life, meticulously placing flowers, seeds, and natural materials—this is where the magic happens.
We’ll provide grab-and-go lunches before heading to the Pasadena Community College sports field for Bandfest, where elite marching bands from around the world perform energetic field shows in full color and sound.
Check into the Best Western hotel, located just 30 minutes from Pasadena. With four restaurants in the adjacent hotel complex and a shopping center only a few blocks away, you’ll find plenty of dinner and exploring options close by. Ring in the New Year (a bit early!) with a fascinating visit to the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum. Explore the impressive America 250 exhibit, featuring interactive displays and rare historical artifacts celebrating our nation’s story.
We’ll host a late lunch at a Mexican buffet—always a customer favorite—before returning to the hotel to freshen up for a stunning nighttime experience at Descanso Gardens. After dark, the gardens transform into a magical one-mile trail of glowing landscapes, illuminated oak groves, radiant flowers, and shimmering art installations.

Enjoy prime grandstand seating for the 2026 Pasadena Rose Parade. A comfy seat cushion and lap blanket are included to keep you comfortable until the sun warms the morning. Our bus parks directly behind our seats—no long walks, just convenience and perfect views. Breakfast bags will be provided, but for the adventurous, street vendors offer hot food, and there’s an excellent donut shop nearby. The bus will remain open until the parade begins if you’d like warmth, restrooms, or a quieter start to the morning.
Marvel at more than 30 dazzling, professionally designed floats (each described in your complimentary program), world-class marching bands, and majestic equestrian units. This year’s Grand Marshal is Magic Johnson—a special highlight!
Continue to Hollywood for free time to enjoy lunch on your own at Mel’s Diner, a fun 1950s throwback. Enjoy a guided tour of the Hollywood Museum in the historic Max Factor Building, followed by time to stroll the Walk of Stars, see the famous Chinese Theatre, and browse souvenir shops. And if you love desserts—we highly recommend the hot fudge sundaes at the Ghirardelli Chocolate Shop!
