DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1 Fly to Kansas City

Early evening non stop on Alaska Air to Kansas City. Get to know your travelmates at a pre departure dinner. One night hotel. D

Day 2 Truman Library

The Truman Presidential Library is waiting for following a $29 million world-class transformation. Visitors can expect a cinematic experience of some of the most dramatic chapters of world history. It is hailed as “the new standard for presidential libraries” and a must-see. We will make a stop at Joe’s BBQ featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. B

 

Day 3 Crystal Bridges and Thorncrown Chapel

Located in Bentonville, the birthplace of Walmart. Crystal Bridges is a world-class museum of American art and an amazing piece of architecture. Continue through the Ozarks to Thorncrown Chapel which rises forty-eight feet into the Ozark sky. This magnificent wooden structure contains 425 windows and over 6,000 square feet of glass. Overnight at the historic Basin Park hotel in downtown Eureka Springs. Built in 1902, the downtown shops and dining are outside the front door. B

 

Day 4 Dogwood Canyon Nature Tram, Mill Lunch and Hughes Brothers

Step aboard a comfortable, open-air tram to explore the beauty of Dogwood Canyon during peak bloom! This two-hour narrated tour passes by bluffs, waterfalls and other scenic views. You’ll enter the Bison-Elk pasture, cross Thunder Falls and see the magnificent blue-green Glory Hole. Enjoy lunch in the historic mill overlooking the falls. Check into your Branson hotel for three night stay. Tonight take your seat for Branson’s #1 Show, The Hugh’s Brothers. L

 

Day 5 Branson Fest #1, Branson Landing and Historic Main Street

Spend time in historic downtown and Branson Landing full of specialty shops and regional dining including Paula Deans. Then your first afternoon of Branson Music Fest. It has been designated one of the USA’s top 100 events where you’ll experience two afternoons each with 10-12 acts highlighting the best of their 2024 shows at one theater with everything from country to bluegrass and pop to gospel. B

Day 6 Branson Fest #2 and “Queen Esther” the Biblical Musical

Another afternoon full of music plus celebrity meet & greets. This evening we change things up with the 5 star rated biblical musical “Queen Esther” at the Sight and Sound Theater. B,L

 

Day 7 Lambert’s Brunch, Ride Through Caverns

Depart for Kansas City with a stop at Lambert’s, featuring their famous throwed rolls warm from the oven. Missouri is a state with more than its share of caves, but Fantastic Caverns offers the only ride through experience in the USA. Board a tram and head underground for a guided tour of rock formations and dangling soda straws coated with shining minerals. 1 night stay. B,L

  

Day 8 Steamboat Arabia Museum & Return Flight

The Arabia Steamboat Museum is a history museum, housing artifacts salvaged from the Arabia, a steamboat that sank in the Missouri River in 1856. The 30,000-square-foot museum is like a time capsule. Learn about the treasure hunt and how the family learned to save it. Depart for the Kansas City Airport for your Afternoon flight back to SeaTac. B
