Friday’s schedule is packed with performances and hands-on fun. You might catch a sport kite ballet, a quirky mystery event, or even the mass ascension of delta kites this day traditionally includes a little bit of everything… high-flying stunts, creative talks, and a charming beach town full of shops and cafes. On the ground, there’s just as much to enjoy. The festival’s craft fair runs along the beach promenade and is filled with handmade finds, kite-inspired gifts, and coastal treats. Be sure to stop by the Kite Museum in town. We’ll arrive early afternoon and stay until 6:00 p.m., so there’s no rush.
